to the website of Ian Kitson. Ian studied landscape architecture from 1973-1978 and has been a chartered landscape architect since 1982. He also has a degree in architecture and post graduate diploma in the conservation of historic parks and gardens. He has been practicing as a garden designer and landscape architect for over 25 years and his award winning designs have gained national and international recognition. Ian’s studio is in central London and he works on projects throughout the UK.

Ian works for both private garden owners and public bodies and is often part of or leads multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects. He has a close network of design colleagues and where necessary works with them to bring to each project some of the best expertise available. Ian most often takes on projects from initial ideas, working with clients through the design development process to ensuring a comprehensive and bespoke construction programme. There is a free form appearance to Ian work: this is a very precise approach to create a strong identity and character for his garden and landscape designs.
